Michigan Woman Arrested and Jailed for Growing Organic Vegetables in her Front Yard
Want to know how bad the police state in America is? Look to Oak Park, Michigan, where Julie Bass will be serving 93 days in jail.
What is her crime that will be eating up the taxpayers' money in cash strapped Michigan? She grew some organic vegetables. A law that clearly violates personal property rights did Bass in.
Oak Park, Michigan resident Julie Bass planted the vegetable beds in her front yard because the price of organic food his so high. But the city booked Bass under a regulation that says "a front yard has to have suitable, live, plant material."
This nonsense has got to stop! She is guilty of planting vegetables and the police state's charges against her is because she didn't plant the veggies in the back yard. This is tyranny over private property rights, and I say it's time to have a John Sinclair style protest in Michigan to raise some eyebrows about what has taken place in Julie Bass's front yard.
